Short version: no cookies, no analytics, no accounts, and we don't keep the domains you check.

What we don't do
This site sets no cookies. It runs no analytics, no advertising, no tracking pixels and no third-party scripts. Fonts and scripts are served from robotto.org itself.
The domain checker
When you run a check, your browser sends the domain names to our Cloudflare Worker. The Worker checks those domains and sends the result back to you. We don't save the domains or the results on our side.
To enforce the daily limit, the Worker stores a counter for each visitor per day. The counter is keyed by a one-way hash of the date and your IP address, so the stored value can't be turned back into your IP address, and it changes every day. Old counters are deleted after a few days.
What your browser stores
The checker saves your last result for each domain (status code, canonical address, robots.txt hash and expiry date) in your browser's local storage, so it can show what changed the next time. That data stays on your device and is never sent to us. Click Forget all under the results, or clear this site's data in your browser, to remove it.
Cloudflare
The site is hosted on Cloudflare. Like any web host, Cloudflare processes standard request data (IP address, browser user agent, the page requested and the time) to deliver pages and protect the site from abuse. Cloudflare's own privacy policy covers how it handles that data.
If you email us, we use your address and message only to reply to you. We don't add you to a mailing list, and we don't share your email with anyone.
Children
The site isn't aimed at children and we don't knowingly collect information from them.
Changes
If this policy changes, we'll update the date at the top of this page.
