What "beta" means here

The free checker works and we use it ourselves every day. Beta means the checks and the result format may still change as we learn which problems people care about. If a verdict looks wrong for your site, send us the domain and what you expected at contact@robotto.org. Those reports are how the rules get better.

There's no signup for monitoring yet, on purpose. We'd rather talk to the first users directly than collect a waiting list. An email with a rough domain count and your main worry (expiry, redirects, robots.txt, AI crawlers) is all we need.

Pricing questions

Will the free checker stay free?

That's the plan. It runs on Cloudflare Workers and costs us little per check. If usage grows to the point where the daily limit has to change, we'll say so on this page first.

Why is there a daily limit?

Every check sends around two dozen requests to other people's servers and to domain registries. The limit of 30 domains per visitor per day keeps the service fast and stops it from being used to hammer anyone's site.

How will monitoring be priced?

Probably by the number of domains, with a small free tier. We haven't set numbers yet. If you write to us about early access, tell us how many domains you'd watch and how often you'd want them checked.

Do you offer an API?

Not publicly yet. The checker uses a simple JSON endpoint, and a documented API with keys is on the list for monitoring. Tell us what you'd build with it.
